One Whole Year

Yesterday Jeff and I had our first anniversary.  It's crazy how fast time flies, but it's been a great year.  To celebrate we left Friday afternoon and stayed in Old Town San Diego for 2 nights.  It was a lot of fun.  We went and saw the visitor's center for the Mormon Battalion, went and did a session in the San Diego Temple, walked around Old Town, ate lots of good food, did some shopping, and just relaxed.

We got home from San Diego on Sunday afternoon (our anniversary) and made an amazing dinner.  Prime rib, funeral potatoes, and glazed carrots.  (Yes, no calories for us, haha,)   Then we cut into the top of our wedding cake from a year before.  The cake was super crumbly and started falling apart as Jeff cut it.  Needless to say, we each only had a tiny bite so we could say we did and then threw the rest away.
